Two militants of A++ Category Killed by Security forces in Kralgund Encounter

Two militants of A++ category were killed in counter-militancy operation in North Kashmir’s Gonipora Kralgund on Wednesday in an Nocturnal Gunfight.
An official while talking to Greater Now said a gunfight erupted in the evening in Gonipora Kralgund when security forces launched a search and cordon operation after an input about the presence and movement of militants.
The operation in the area was launched by Army’s 32 RR, Police and CRPF,the operation turned into an encounter after hiding militants fired at the search party, which was retaliated.
“During the search operation as the presence of militants got ascertained, they were given opportunity to surrender, however, they fired indiscriminately on the joint search party, which was retaliated leading to an encounter and two militants of A++ Category were killed in the encounter” told an official while talking to Greater Now.
An official while talking to Greater Now confirmed that two militants of A++ category have been killed in the encounter.
The operation is still going on and more details are awaited.
