Baramulla:In a major push to assist civil administration in containing spread of Coronavirus and In a step to aware people based in Rafiabad about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and its safety measure, the Rafiabad Army is conducting campaigns and carrying ‘Khairiyat Patrol’on daily basis.

Rafiabad Army’s Sialkot camp conducted several meeting with the localities and reached out to villagers to educate and assist the people and students on how to fight against coronavirus.

Army doctors and para medicos educated people about the symptoms of coronavirus infection and how it gets spread. They further also distributed face masks and shared preventive measures with the people.

Rafiabad Army’s Sialkot COB is providing medical support to villagers amidst the COVID-19 pandemic to boost and strengthen the existing bonhomie between people of the region.

With ‘Khairiyat Patrols’ being carried out throughout Rafiabad area the 32 Rashtriya Rifles has been able to reach out to the population in far flung areas.

Meanwhile While carrying out a Khariyat patrol Personnel from Sialkot camp immediately evacuated a injured person who had received serious injuries in his foot was provided immediate and appropriate medical care.

People in the area lauded the Indian Army’s effort of making them aware of the deadly virus and how to deal with it.

A local resident Bashir Ahmad while appreciating the friendly gesture of 32 RR said ”we are thankful to army officers who had stated awareness campaign regarding COVID infection. The way we were educated will help a lot”.
