Uri, May 10 : Today a team of doctors at PHC Boniyar under the guidance of “Save Heart Kashmir” and Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dr Pervaiz Masoodi performed thrombolysis procedure for Acute Myocardial infarction during the ongoing covid-19 crisis. 

Dr Masoodi told Greater Now News that, “A 75 year old male namley Abdul Gaffar Sheikh S/o Ghulaml Qadir Sheikh from Lachipora Boniyar, known  hypertensive referred from PHC Bijhama with the acute chest pain was admitted at PHC Boniyar and diagnosed with Anterior Wall MI and was successfully thrombolysed in accordance with the current ACS guidelines under the supervision of Save Heart Kashmir.” 

“Later the said patient was handed over to 108 Ambulance Staff under the close observation for transfer to SKIMS Soura department of Cardiology.” Dr Masoodi added. 

Moreover doctors at PHC Boniyar thank BMO Dr Parveiz Masoodi for his encouragement and providing all medical support for dealing with such medical emergencies at the primary level center. 

Dr Pervaiz Masoodi encouraged and appreciated the whole team including the experts from Save Heart Kashmir for their timely support and consultation. 

Moreover all that locals appreciated the health services in the area and said ‘”we are high thankful to BMO Boniyar and his team for always being available for us and helping us during these times, we hope they will be also helping us in future.”
