Ganderbal, 19 Sep : The Dedrambagh Cricket Tournament concluded today with victory title going to Young Gladiators Giraj Ganderbal Circket Team.The Final Match was played between Young Gladiators Giraj team and African Shooters Buderkund team.The cricket tournament was organized by Dedrambagh Sports Committee to provide the platform to the youth of the area to showcase their sports talent.

National Conference Senior Leader and Former Legislator Mr. Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar, the chief guest on the occasion distributed trophies among the winner and runner up teams. He also distributed prizes to the man of the series and man of the match.

Mr Jabbar thanked and appreciated all the participants, managing body and the supporters for making the tournament successful. Speaking on the occasion, Jabbar congratulated the winning and runners-up teams. He appreciated the Organisers  for the successful conduct of the tournament. He also thanked the general public of the area for their love and support for  the youth participated in the tournament.

Mr Jabbar said that sports activities help in keeping the youth away from drugs as sports activities keep them busy.

On the occassion Mr Jabbar said that the ground will be upgraded as he has raised the issue of many sports fields including this with the Principal Secretary Youth Service and Sports. He further said that as MLA I have also released CDF for its development.

He also said that the organisers should organize more sports events in the coming months, which will help keep the youth busy and away from drugs.
