ARMY CONTINUES IT’S REACH OUT PROGRAMME FOR BAKERWAL COMMUNITY IN KIGAM-KANDI BOWL

Kupwara 07 June(KNB) :In a yet another affort within a week Army Camp Chak Kigam under aegis of Army Garrison Charkut continues its effort to reach out to Bakerwal community who have migrated from Rajouri and Naushera to area of Kigam- Kandi Bowl.
On arrival of Bakerwal community Army Camp Chak Kigam interacted with the Bakerwals at various locations on 07 Jun 20 and assured them of security and any kind of assistance.
During the interaction ensuring our effort to strengthen relations with Bakarwals, Solar Lamp, Sweets and mobile phones to keep connected with their near ones were also distributed amongst them.
The gesture shown by the Indian Army was well appreciated by the Bakarwals and they extended their gratitudes towards the Army.(KNB)
