Uri, Mar 31: Uri police under the Supervision of sub Divisional police officer (SDPO) Junaid Wali had earlier started the mega plantation drive entitled “Sabz-o-shadab Uri” to make Uri green and beautiful.

In a statement issued to “Greater Now News”, a plantation drive, was started by SDPO Uri in different parts of Uri. The drive was kick started from officer club Uri and GHSS Uri, The initiative was taken by Uri police in order to emphasize on afforistration and make environment ecofriendly and green.

Today on Wednesday 31 March 2021 “sabz o shadaab uri” initiative was extended to some far flung areas of subdivision Uri. “The plantation drive was carried out at Shahadra shrine, Mandir, gurudwara and mosque in Uroosa area of subdivision Uri” said SDPO Uri Junaid wali statement added.
