Srinagar, August 24: Numerous trout fishes have reportedly died in a pond in Natnusa area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district after some miscreants’ sprinkled poisonous chemical in the water.

Reports reaching said that many trout fishes were reportedly killed in a pond this afternoon after some unknown miscreants sprinkled an poisonous chemical in the pond.
The residents of the area demanded stern action against the involved persons.

When tried to contact officials of Fisheries Department, they were unreachable.

However, when contacted ADC Kupwara Nazir Ahmad he said he has no information about the matter. (KNS)
