Srinagar, Sep 29 : A Pakistani militant caught alive by the Indian Army during a live encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector has asked his masters in the neighboring country to take him back to his mother.
Pakistani teen militant Ali Babar Patra said, ” “I appeal to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) area commander, the ISI and the Pakistan Army to take me back to my mother just like they sent me here (India),” Ali Babar Patra, the teenage terrorist from Pakistan, said in a video message released by the Army.
On 26 September, Patra was arrested by the army during a live encounter in Uri sector when he pleaded for his life. Another Pakistani infiltrator was killed in the nine-day operation that began on 18 September.
In the video message, Patra said that Pakistan Army, ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba are spreading lies about the situation in Kashmir.
“We were told that the Indian Army is bleeding, but everything is peaceful here. I want to tell my mother that Indian Army has taken good care of me.
He also said that the Indian Army officers and jawans treated the locals who visited the camp where they were kept very well.
“I can listen to azaan five times a day over loudspeakers. The behavior of Indian Army is completely opposite to that of Pakistani Army. It makes me feel that there is peace in Kashmir. “On the contrary, they take advantage of our helplessness in Pakistani Kashmir to send us here,” he said.
Detailing his debut in the terror ranks, Patra said that he had lost his father seven years ago and had to drop out of school due to financial constraints.
“I took a job in a garment factory in Sialkot, where I met Anas, who used to recruit people for Lashkar-e-Taiba. Because of my condition, I went with him. He gave me Rs 20,000 and later promised to give Rs 30,000 more.
