Sopore police solves theft/burglary case
Sopore, 30 June 2020:A theft/burglary compliant was received by Police Station Sopore from one Ulfat Ahmad khawja R/O Seloo Sopore regarding theft/burglary took place at his residential house at Seloo sopore during intervening night of 19/20 June 2020.
upon this case stands registered under FIR No.152/2020 U/S 457, 380 IPC.
During investigation search was carried out at different places in the entire area and many suspects were taken into custody for questioning.
After hectic efforts and sustained interrogation one person namely Umer Farooq Sheikh S/O Farooq Ahmad Sheikh R/O Seloo Sopore age 23 years confessed his involvement and also revealed that he was accompanied by one more person namely Shahid Farooq Sofi S/O Farooq Ahmad Sofi R/O Sempora Sopore who is a notorious thief /burglar who was booked under PSA last year.
