Sopore, Mar 21: On the directions of SP Sopore Shri. Sudhanshu Verma-IPS, a plantation drive was launched at Police Station Panzla with the assistance of the forest department.

On the occasion, SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Ameen Bhat-JKPS alongwith SHO Police Station Panzla Insp. Muhammad Ashraf threw light on the importance of plants in our life. They said that the drive is aimed to create green spaces around concrete structures, so that ecological balance is maintained.

“Plantation is the basic environmental conservation and we must make endeavours by creating oxygen zones by planting trees in the interest of sustainable development. Being part of a responsible organization, we must plant trees to keep the nature in its best balance.
