Sopore, May 04: Police party of Police Post Fruit Mandi received specific information regarding presence of gamblers at Alsafa Colony Sopore.
Acting upon the information police party led by IC PP Fruit Mandi ‘Bilal Rashid’ rushed towards the spot.
On seeing the police party they tried to flee from the spot but were apprehended tactfully.
The arrested gamblers were identified as:-
1. Naseer Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Muhammad Dar and
2. Ghulam Nabi S/O Ghulam Ahmad both the residents of Doabgah Sopore.
Case under sections of 13 Gambling Act registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation taken up.
