Sopore, 08 July: With the aim to strengthen Police Public relations today a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) Meeting was held by Sopore Police at Police Station Panzalla.

Sopore, 08 July: With the aim to strengthen Police Public relations today a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) Meeting was held by Sopore Police at Police Station Panzalla. The meeting was chaired by SHO Panzalla Inspr. Mudasir Shafi, regarding “Drug de addiction awareness programme” and also “Suicide Prevention, Information and awareness programme”. Besides, other officers of Police Station Panzalla were present in the meeting.

The meeeting was attended by the youth of the area, who put up various issues of public importance and Drug addiction.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairing officer said that such meetings are conducted to solicit the suggestions and support of people for better Policing and would be conducted in future as well.

He also thanked the people for participating in the meeting and providing valuable suggestions.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SHO Panzalla assured that these issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal and added that police will provide its legal support as and when required for the betterment of the society accordingly.

The participants were stressed to cooperate with Sopore Police to provide the information about the drug peddlers and make the area Drug free and also they were appealed to follow the COVID-19 guidelines/SOPs.
