26 August 2020: On 22 August 2020, Police Station Dangiwacha received a complaint from Sameer Ahmad Pinjoo running a goldsmith shop at Dangiwacha market, complaining that by fraud means one person namely Dr. Bilal Ahmad Lone S/O Mohammad Akbar Lone R/O Marathgown Handwara took Gold items worth around Rs 03 Lakhs 85 thousands.

SHO Police Station Dangiwacha Insp. Dr. Yasar Mehmood act swiftly under supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Nissar Ahmad-JKPS and arrested the accused within 48 hrs.

During the course of investigation, the involved accused fraudulent person was arrested and Gold worth Rs 03 Lakhs 85 thousands were also recovered from him.

General public are requested not to fall prey in the hands of such fraudulent people. Police has resolved to act tough against inimical elements. Locals of the area lauded the Role and prompt action of police.
