SCOOTY LIFTER GANG BUSTED BY GUJJAR NAGAR POLICE 34 SCOOTIES RECOVERED 03 ARRESTED

Jammu:On 13-06-2020 one Manohar lal s/o Gyan Chand r/o House no 45 sector 6 Gangyal Jammu reported at police post Gujjar Nagar that some unknown persons have stolen his scooty Activa bearing registration no.JK02DT-6452 from Jogi gate Gujjar Nagar Jammu.
Continuing it’s endeavour so safeguard public property a Case FIR no 37/2020 u/s 379 IPC was registered at police station Peermetha and Investigation of the case entrusted to Incharge police post Gujjar Nagar SI Parvaiz Ahmed khanday.
During the course of the investigation many suspects were rounded up for questioning and one Sushil Gupta s/o Kastoori Lal Gupta r/o House no.116 Shivalikpuram Janipur Jammu revealed his involvement in the theft and on his disclosure stolen scooty was recovered.
He also gave some important leads in the investigation.On his disclosure,it was revealed that two more persons namely 1) Deepak Sharma @kaka s/o Krishan lal r/o Jindra Dhansal Jammu 2) Ajit Sharma s/o Ashok Sharma r/o Dhanu tikri Udhampur were involved in this racket, who are know acquaintances of the primary accused.It was Prima-facie established that the accused persons were involved in many other theft cases and on their subsequent disclosures 33 more stolen scooties were recorded so far.
The arrest and recoveries were made by SI parvaiz Ahmed khanday Incharge police post Gujjar Nagar after sternous efforts under the supervision of SHO PS Peermetha Inspector Nayat Ali,SDPO city North Jammu DYSP Satish Kumar (JKPS) and guidance of SP North Jammu ms PD Nitya(IPS) and under overall supervision of SSP Jammu sh.Shridhar Patil(IPS).
