Baramulla:Skill Training Centre, Dangiwacha was inaugurated by Mrs Rouble Nagi on 29 Mar 2021.

The centre has been established by Army in collaboration with Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, which is an NGO based in Mumbai. RNAF will assist in making the project self-sustaining and provide incentive to the learners.

The inaugural event was held at VTC, Dangiwacha. It was attended by 90 young girls and women of Rafiabad who were encouraged to come forward to pursue their dreams and become independent.

Mrs Rouble Nagi spoke on various aspects of women empowerment, its importance in today’s society and measures that can be taken to empower women in Kashmir.

The initiative of opening of Skill Development Centre in Dangiwacha was highly appreciated by the local populace and they were thankful to the RNAF and Army for taking step towards empowering women of Rafiabad.
