Rafiabad reports another Covid-19 death after 65-year-old man dies from virus

The deceased was admitted in SMHS Hospital in Srinagar on July 6 and was already suffering from other ailments

Rafiabad: Rafiabad reported one more coronavirus-related death on Wednesday after test reports of a 65-year-old man, who died two days ago, came COVID-19 positive, taking the death toll to 146 in J&K.
The man from Nadhihal Rafiabad was admitted to the SMHS hospital here on July 6 and he was already suffering from bilateral Pneumonia and other ailments hospital authorities told.
The man was admitted in SMHS hospital on July 6 and and two days after his death, it was confirmed that he was coronavirus positive.
He was being treated at the SMHS hospital in Srinagar and for the last couple of days. He had bilateral pneumonia and he was immuno-compromised. He was having some breathing problems and as per protocol, his blood sample was taken and sent for test and he was found COVID-19 positive”an official told Greater Now.
Meanwhile 132 people in Kashmir and 14 in Jammu division have died so far due the Coronavirus.
