Srinagar, Jan 4 (GNN): Prominent socio-political activist, Adv Mohammad Annayat along with his associate’s besides scores of prominent businessmen from different areas of Watergam Rafiabad joined PDP at its office in Srinagar on Monday.

Adv Mohammad Annayat, a native of Watergam village formally joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) today in the presence of party patron and former Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar.

The new entrants were welcomed by PDP president and former Chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Adv Annayat said that he was delighted to join the PDP as according to him this was the only political platform available to the people of J&K that believes in development of one and all.

“With consciousness we have joined this party, as it has fought for the rights of people since the very first day of it’s formation, adding we want to strengthen it and wants to take it towards the new heights of development, peace and progress, said Adv Annayat while addressing the associates in presence of Party president.

However he also said that, we all are here just to serve the people of our valley irrespective of discriminations.

I am hopeful that all my friends, colleagues and associates will disseminate PDP’s programme and work to strengthen it in their own capacities, Mohammad Annayat added.

However the other new entrants were also delighted by joining the Kashmiri’s own political party.
