Srinagar, July 22: A policeman on Wednesday evening was shot dead by suspected militants in southern Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Reports said that a policeman identified as Abdul Rashid Dar son of GH Hussain dar of Mir bazar was fired by suspected gunmen this evening at his home in South Kashmir’s Kulgam.
Dar was rushed to nearby hospital where on the way he succumbed to his injures.
Meanwhile police have sealed whole area to nab the attackers.
