Police organises training programme on Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children Act) & IT Act

Budgam, April 06: Police in Budgam launched a series of training programmes for Police personnel of the district. The training will be imparted to over 300 investigating officers of the district. The first day of training was conducted at DPL Budgam in which over 50 IOs participated.

 

The training programme was kick started by ASP Budgam Shri Gowhar Ahmed-JKPS. IC PP Humhama Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad was also present on the occasion.

 

ASP Budgam delivered detailed lecture on IT Act, Security Challenges and Law and Order. He highlighted the latest technology, tools and techniques related to cyber security, IT Act etc. He threw light on the importance of cyber security in contemporary era where most of the financial, social activities are done via internet. He informed the participants about legal ways and means to protect against network intrusions and unlawful activities like hacking, cyber bullying, phishing, online banking frauds etc.

 

Later on, Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad, IC PP Humhama threw light on Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of children Act). He briefed about the sensitivity of juvenile cases and their orientation. He enlightened the investigating officers about latest techniques and standard practices to expedite the investigation and improve their investigation skills in Juvenile cases.
