Sopore, Mar 08: Sopore Police in continuation to its war against Drugs and its Peddlers and to eradicate this severe menace from the society arrested two more Notorious Drug Peddlers alongwith Psychotropic Substance within 6 hours from Marazigund area of Rafiabad

During naka checking at Marazigund Rafiabad, two more drugs peddlers were arrested.

The persons arrested revealed their identities as: 1. Safeer Ahmad Baba S/O Ghulam Muhammad Baba R/O Marazigund and 2. Aqib Ahmad Mir S/O Ghulam Hassan Mir R/O Bomai.

During search 120 tablets of SPASMOPROXYVON Plus were recovered from their possession.

In this regard case FIR No. 25/2022 U/S 08/22 of NDPS Act was registered in PS Dangiwacha. Further investigation has been taken up.

The war against Drugs and Narcotics by Sopore Police shall continue and efforts to eradicate this severe menace will be given top priority. The efforts of Police has been appreciated and applauded by general public.
