Srinagar, Jun 16 : A pedestrian has got killed after hit by a car at Batpora area in Kunzer Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this morning.

Reports reaching said that a ‘Swift’ car bearing registration JK-01J 8333 hit a person identified as one Waseem Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Rasool Mir, resident of Habligam Devbugh.

In the incident, the person, a pedestrian, suffered critical injuries and was immediately lifted to SDH Magam, however he succumbed on way.

Meanwhile a police official confirming the incident said that a case FIR number 91/2021 under sections 279, 337, 304A has been registered in this regard and further investigations taken up.
