Srinagar, Jan 21: PDP gives a key party responsibility to a new-entrant Adv. Mohammad Anayat in Rafiabad Constituency and nominates Peer Jalal u din as District President Baramulla.

The party workers in Rafiabad constituency have been struggling without leadership after top echelons of the PDP Dilawar Mir and his junior Yawar Mir joined Apni Party led by Altaf Bukhari.
Similarly, Baramulla parliamentary constituency was jointly managed by remaining loyalists of Mehbooba Mufti including Peer Jalal u din, Haji Ghulam Rasool and Mir Intikhab after former bigwigs of PDP deserted the party following BJP’s move to end its alliance with PDP.

Peer Jalal u Din has been highly instrumental in managing the victory of PAGD candidates from Baramulla while Adv. Mohammad Anayat is a new entrant who joined PDP some 2 weeks back in presence of Mehbooba Mufti, he instantly gets the key party position in Rafiabad.

This development was confirmed through the tweet from PDP’s official Twitter handle which reads, “The Peoples Democratic Party has nominated Jalal ud Din Shah as District President Baramulla & Advocate Mohammad Anayat as Constituency In-Charge Rafiabad.”
