Acting tough against the drug dealings, Sopore Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A Police team of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam SI Imitiyaz Ahmad established a Naka at Chatloora intercepted a person identified as Mohammad Latief Parray son of Ghulam Nabi Parray resident of Hib Dangerpora. During checking, officers were able to recover 20 grams of brown sugar like Substance from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 01/2021 U/S 8/21 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Dangiwacha and further investigation has been initiated.
