Pakistan,Dec 26: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has suffered a big personal setback. He himself has told about it on Twitter. Akhtar’s mother, who is called the world’s fastest bowler, has passed away. His mother’s name was Hamida Awan.
Shoaib Akhtar has given this information on Twitter. Akhtar has written, ‘My mother, my everything, has left this world by the will of Allah Ta’ala. Namaz-e-Janaza will be recited in H-8 after Asr prayer.
According to Pakistani news channel Geo News, Akhtar’s mother was taken to the hospital after her health deteriorated but she could not be saved.
Akhtar is remembered as the fastest bowler in international cricket. He played 46 Tests, 163 One Day Internationals and 15 T20 Internationals for Pakistan.
