Jammu, March 12: Police and security forces claimed to have arrested a militant in Doda district of Jammu region.

Official sources told that a joint Cordon-and-Search-Operation was launched by police, Army’s 10RR Doda, 7th battalion SSB and 33 batallion CRPF in village Bikheryan Doda.

“During the search operation, one militantly identified as Firdous Ahmed Natnoo son of Ghulam Ahmed of Bikheryan Doda was arrested. Three Chinese pistols, two magazines, 15 rounds of Chinese pistol and a silencer were recovered,” they said.

SP (Operations) Doda Raj Kumar when contacted by confirmed the arrest and said that further investigations are underway. (GNS)
