Medical Camp Organized By Rafiabad Army Draws Huge Crowd,Locals Lauded Efforts Of Army

Rafiabad:A medical cum veterinary camp was conducted by ‘Rafiabad Army’ under the aegis of Pohrupet Sector on 25 Oct 2022 at village Panzala.

The aim of the medical cum
veterinary camp was to provide quality medical care to the locals of the higher reaches of Rafiabad region who are generally deprived of modern medical facilities.

In consonance with Army’s constant endeavour to provide a healing touch a team of Army and Civil Medical Officers from Rohama, Watergam and Dangiwacha participated in the
medical camp. A team of specialists viz Medical Specialist, Surgeons, Gynecologist,Pediatrician, ENT Specialist, Ophthalmologist & Dentists (including Women Doctors)
provided medical care to the villagers.

During the event the locals were also distributed free medicines as prescribed by doctors.

A veterinary care team provided veterinary cover to the animals of locals and Gujjars /Bakarwals. A large number of animals were treated and free medicines were distributed
thus benefiting the livestock of these remote villages.

A total of 473 patients including 322 Males, 107 Females and 44 Children and 57 animals benefitted from this camp. The locals lauded the efforts of the Rafiabad Army for genuine
concern towards them and assured of all possible help in maintaining peace and
tranquility in the region.

This medical camp is being mewed as a welcome step before the
onset of winters in Rafiabad.
