Srinagar:Relatives,well wishers and members of civil society have expressed their condolences with Abdul Majeed Lone, former Principal on the demise of his wife.
The condolence messages on the sad and untimely demise of Safiya Begum, Wife of Abdul Majeed Lone(Former Principal of Paradise Public School Watergam) are continuously pouring in. The friends, well- wishers and relatives of are in a state of shock over Safiya Begums demise and term it a great loss for the entire family.
It is pertinent to mention here that the deceased Safiya Begum is sister of Late Ghulam Mustafa who was founder of Fruit mandi Sopore and she is also Aunt of Editor-in-Chief of Greater Now Iqbal Amin.
Safiya Begum was a pious person who yesterday passed away at Umar Colony Wanabal Rawalpora Srinagar after a prolonged illness.
Several associations and sections of the society conveyed their heartfelt sympathies with the grieving family and expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength and courage to them at this juncture and also prayed for eternal peace and the highest place in Jannat for the departed.
People associated with different socio-political organizations have sent their condolences to the bereaved family, particularly to Iqbal Amin.
Meanwhile the staff of Greater Now also held a special condolence meeting in the office and expressed their sympathies with Abdul Majeed lone,Iqbal Amin and other family members to bear over this loss and special prayers for the departed soul were also offered.
