Uri, Mar 24: Landslides hits Boniyar-Bernate road in Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, which resulted into the disconnecting village bernate from the Tehsil headquarters.

Locals while talking to “Greater Now News” said that,the continous landslides has become the schedule for we people. We request concerned authorities to please clear our road connectivity immediately so that our problem will be solved” said Bilal Ahmad sheikh of village Bernate.

The locals alleged that the occurring of the landslides had started after the PMGSY had carried the widening of the road and left the construction midway.

The locals requested the authorities to take immediate action in removing the debris from the road besides directing the PMGSY to restart the construction of the road soon for the safety and well being of the erstwhile people of village.
