Baramulla November 03:The vice Chairperson of KVIB on Tuesday opened a facilitation center in Watergam Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

An Introductory meeting of Rafiabad Watergam Development Forum, with Vice Chairperson KVIB, J&K was held at Town Watergam.

The representatives of all Tehsils and CD Blocks put forth their demands before the signatory, especially unemployed youth of the areas has brought into her notice that financial assistance for setting up units may kindly be sanctioned at an earliest.

Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat has dedicated KVIB sub Office at Watergam which started it’s function from today, Citizens of Rafiabad and Zangair thanked Vice Chairperson Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, for Establishment of KVIB Branch at Town Watergam.

Chairman Auqaf Committee, Welfare Committee,President of Tehsil Watergam thanked Vice Chairperson KVIB, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, for opening KVIB Branch at Watergam Rafiabad of District Baramulla with the planning, promotion, organisation and implementation of programs for the development of Khadi and other village industries in the rural areas in coordination with other agencies engaged in rural development wherever necessary.

People of the area while welcoming her appreciated the move and said, “Opening of a J&K KVIB branch in Watergam Rafiabad which is a business hub in north Kashmir, was a long pending demand of the local populace and traders community.
