Kulgam Jan 23:Continuing its efforts to help the needy, Kulgam police after receiving a distress call from villagers of Sangran area falling under the JD of Police Station Qazigund and stated that a kidney patient is suffering from irresistible pain and needs immediate medical attention.

On tip off, a police party from Police Station Qazigund headed by SHO Qazigund Insp. Irshad Reshi under the supervision of SDPO Qazigund Shri. Mohd Shafiq-JKPS rushed to the spot immediately amid blocked ways and slippery roads and evacuated the patient to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for medical treatment in official vehicle as no ambulance service or any regular vehicle could be used to shift the person to hospital.

Locals especially family members of the patient shifted to Hospital thanked and applauded the efforts of Kulgam Police for prompt response and timely assistance in such a crucial juncture.
