Srinagar, Jun 03: After the killing of Branch Manager in Kulgam, the government on Thursday issued advisory for the safety of minority employees in Banks.

According to an advisory, a copy of which lies with the news agency, each branch office shall be guarded by skilled armed guards to avert any kind of threat.

Furthermore, minority employees shall be posted at safer zones which include Nishat, Rajbagh, shivpora, Baghat, Lal Chowk etc.

In addition, the advisory reads that the banks have been asked to ensure high quality image surveillance camera at each branch.

District Coordinators of all banks have been asked to strict implement directions before noon tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the SBI as a sponsor of EDB bank shall ensure necessary support to family of slain branch manager.
