Kreeri Encounter: One militant Killed, operation on

Baramulla 22 Aug: In an ongoing gunfight,one militant was killed in Saloosa area of Kreeri in North Kashmir’ Baramulla District.
According to reports reached to Greater Now“An unidentified militant was killed today in the gunfight raging in the Saloosa village of Kreeri,the identity of the killed militant is yet to be ascertained.
The forces which includes Army, CRPF and Police had launched a cordon and search operation after an input about the presence and movement of militants in the area, as soon as the forces intensified the searches hiding militants fired upon security forces triggering an encounter.
The operation is still in progress and more details are awaited.
It is pertinent to mention here that it’s is the second encounter of this week in Kreeri area as earlier in this week three militants were killed in the same area.
