Indian Army organises Blood Donation Camp at Keegam,Kupwara

Kupwara:A blood donation camp was organised by Chak Kigam Camp under aegis of Charkut Garrision and Kilo Force in collaboration with Indian Red Cross society at Kigam, Kupwara in North Kashmir on eve of Gandhi Jayanti.

 

During the event while many of the civilian and soldiers donated blood, Chairman of Block Development Council, Nutnussa(Kupwara) Ms Ashifa Begum and social worker Ms Hanifa Begum also came forward to participate in the initiative known for highest form of humanism.

A total of 56 individuals both including Army personnel and civilians counterparts including female voluntarily participated in the event.

All the norms related to blood donation as well as COVID-19 pandemic were adhered to during the camp.

Common masses and team of doctors extended their gratitude to the Indian Army for showing such humanly approach and further improving the bond between AWAM and Jawan.

In the meantime, Indian Army also thanked people particularly female folk for their voluntarily participation and Red Cross Society for making the event successful.
