Govt orders restriction on non-essential movement from every Friday 9 pm to Monday 6 am

Srinagar, Jan 30: The authorities on Sunday said that there will be complete restriction on non-essential movement in the entire Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir from every Friday 9 pm to Monday 6 am in view of the Covid-19 situation.

 

According to an order issued by State Executive Committee (SEC), a copy of which lies with news agency, night curfew will continue to remain in force in the entire UT.

 

The order stated that night curfew will remain in force from 9 pm to 6 am everyday.

 

As per the order there will be complete restriction on non-essential movement in the entire UT from every Friday 9 pm to Monday 6 am.

 

Notably, the authorities had earlier imposed complete restriction on non-essential movement in J&K from every Friday 2 pm to Monday 6 am in view of the emerging Covid-19 situation.
