Girls represent Karnah in Cycling Expedition

Iqbal Amin Srinagar, Sept 14: Three young girls from Karnah, Urfana Muneer, Fadiya Muneer and Bisma participated in the ‘Ride Kashmir’ cycling expedition from Baramulla to Uri.

Srinagar, Sept 14: Three young girls from Karnah, Urfana Muneer, Fadiya Muneer and Bisma participated in the ‘Ride Kashmir’ cycling expedition from Baramulla to Uri.
The expedition was organised on the occasion of ‘75 Years of Independence of India’ by Indian Army in north Kashmir’s Baramulla
The girls were awarded prizes by the chief guest, actor and model Milind Soman.
On the occasion, Urfana Muneer finished 30th amongst 150 participants. The other two girls also completed the expedition successfully.
Army and the locals of Karnah Valley helped in the participation, conduct and transport of these girls to the event.
It has been said that the participation of girls will motivate other girls to come forward, participate and represent Karnah valley on bigger platforms in future.
