Four JeM militants killed by security forces in Shopian Encounter

Four Militants were killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and Security forces in Amshipora Area of South kashmir’s Shopian District on Saturday morning.
It is second encounter between security forces and militants in last 24 hours in Kashmir. On Friday morning, three Jaish militants were killed in Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources told that Four Militants have been killed in an exchange of fire and there bodies with arms & ammunition were recovered from a cow shed.
The killed militants are believed to belong to the Jaish e Mohammad militant outfit.
Earlie today The encounter broke out after a joint team of Police, Army’s 62 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
Meanwhile at least 133 militants have been killed in different operations across Jammu and Kashmir including top commanders of different militant groups in this year.
