Anantnag, April, 11: Three chambers of lawyers at Munsif court were gutted in a blaze in Shangus area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.

An official said that fire broke out in one of the chambers at Munsif court Shangus and engulfed the adjacent ones.

“The inferno damaged three chambers reducing the documents of lawyers and their clients into ashes,” he said.

Later, the fire tenders rushed to the spot and prevented the fire from spreading further, they said, adding that cause of fire is believed to be short circuit.
