Sopore, April 06: To eradicate the drug menace completly from police district sopore, police station sopore has booked one drug peddler under PSA. The drug peddler/supplier namely Mushtaq Ahmad Khaja S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Telwanpora Seelo Sopore was involved in smuggling/supplying drugs to most vulnerable sections of society espacially youths and making them adicts. Accordingly he was booked in FIR No. 166/2020 US 8/22 NDPS Act and subsequently detained under PSA and lodged in jail said Police in a statement issued to “Greater Now News”.

It is pertinent to mention here that police station sopore has apprehended 80 notorious drug Peddlers since last two years. Process of booking them under PSA has started earlier and most of the peddlers have been recommended to Div. Com for obtaining PSA warrants.

General public is requested to co-operate with Sopore Police so that this menace/social evil can be completely eradicated from the society.
