Shopian, June 29: A dead body of a dog was recovered from a water tank in Kumbdalan village of South Kashmir’s on Tuesday morning and after spotting it, the dead dog was fished out from by water tank.

After watching such filth in the tank, the locals are anguished with the water works department as the water is supplied to hundreds of households for drinking purpose.

Meanwhile locals said that they spotted the carcass of dog after which they fished it out and the pictures were viral on social media.

“It is a water tank, which is in use for supply of drinking water and amid Covid 19 virus it can be a reason of deadly disease for the people,” Sameer Ahmad, a local said.

Despite repeated attempts concerned officials could not be contacted at the earliest.
