Baramulla, Jan 16(GNN): In a historical and significant moment, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo today kick-starts the ist phase of much awaited COVID-19 vaccination drive at two designated centres viz Govt Medical College Baramulla and Sub-district Hospital Sopore.

In a statement issued to (Greater Now News),the programme was launched as part of the nation wide COVID-19 vaccine roll out wherein health and frontline workers shall be vaccinated in the ist phase.

After launching the campaign, DC said that about 3300 health and frontline workers from across the district shall be vaccinated in this drive. He added that adequate and proper arrangements have been made for launching the subsequent phases. Moreover, DC said that all those functionaries who worked tirelessly and selflessly in realizing the dream, deserve much appreciation and gratitude.
