CASO launched by Army’s 29 RR Underway at Guiwa Village in Pattan

Baramulla, 18 Sept:- A Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) launched on Friday Midnight, is Underway in Northern Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
Sources said that joint team of forces including 29 RR, SOG Pattan have launched searches after receiving inputs about presence of militants at Guiwa area of North Kashmir’s Pattan.
As per reports reaching the Government forces laid a seige in the area at around midnight.
Sources added that door to door search operation is underway and all the entry and exit points of the village have been sealed.
However’ no Contact with militants has been established so far.GMK
