Budgam Man Returns to Home after remaining Missing for 19 years

Budgam, July 12: In a strange incident, a person has returned to his home in Budgam after remaining untraceable for nearly two decades.
Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah son of Mohammad Yousuf Shah, aged 65 years, has returned to his home after going missing way back in 2001, as per his family. Mohiuddin, a native of New Colony Khag of Budgam district went missing during his visit to Mumbai.
“We had presumed him dead by now since there was no word from his side from last 19 years now,” said a relative.
Police says, Mohiuddin was traced out in Mumbai on Saturday and was brought home today.
The family of the man adds, “He is suffering from serious illness and is unable to walk by foot. He is now using wheel chair to move from one place to another.”
The officials add that the family had lodged a missing report way back in 2001 at Police station Khag. The family of the subject was rewarded with one lac of ex gratia relief after the he remained missing for long. (CNS)
