Srinagar, November 04: A brief shootout took place between militants and security forces near JVC bemina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

In a tweet Srinagar Police wrote on its official Twitter handle, “There was a brief fire fight between militants and security forces at SKIMS Hospital, Bemina. Militants managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence, reads the tweet.
