Poonch, Mar 27: The body of a 58-year-old woman was recovered from a river in the Chhaktoro area of Poonch district on Saturday.

According to reports, the body has been identified as Sharifa Bibi, wife of Noor Din, resident of Danadoi, Mandi.

According to police sources, the body has been taken to the hospital for fulfilment of legal requirements so that the cause of death can be ascertained.

Meanwhile police sources also added that the case under the relevant sections of law has been registered in police station Poonch to ascertain the facts and the further investigation is going on.
