Baramulla, Oct 31: District Police Baramulla celebrated National unity day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallahbhai Patel. This day is celebrated throughout the Nation to pay rich tributes to the Iron Man of India” Sardar Vallahbhai Patel.
The celebration started with run for unity from Fruit Mandi Kanispora to Prof Showkat Ali Stadium Khawajabagh Baramulla followed by Pledge in which all the participants present, pledged to preserve the unity and Integrity of the Nation & promised to strengthen & preserve the National Integration and dedicate themselves for the country.
An impressive parade by the contingents of District Executive Police was conducted. IC SSP Baramulla Sh. R. K. Parihar took salute at the March past and administered oath to all the participants at DPL Baramulla.
Speaking on the occasion, IC SSP Baramulla addressed the participants & highlighted the importance of this day & emphasized that we must strenghen the Unity, Integrity, Sovereignty & Spirit of Brotherhood in the nation and urged that we should strive hard to spread this message among our Countrymen.
