Ganderbal:Azad Dramatic Cultural Club Repora Lar Ganderbal inaugurated the first private studio theatre in Kashmir at Repora Laar Ganderbal.
On this occasion Ms Kauser Parveen the daughter of Late Raja Maqbool Inaugurated the theatre hall.
Mr Raja Maqbool was an eminent theatre actor/Director of Jammu and Kashmir, recipient of Best Actor award in 2009 and many other achievements, who passed away in the year 2011 at the age of 46.
First of all a tribute was paid to those theatre personalities Who passed recently includes, Mr Ibrahim Alkazi, Mr sajood sailani, Mr Shadi Laal Koul, Folk stalwart Ab Reman Khoja and young emerging talent Mr. Ubaid Ashraf Khan.
Mr Gulzar Ahmed Ganaie hosted the programme and the ceremony was attended by a large gathering of people from surrounding areas and also some prominent theatre dignities of Kashmir, including Mr Nissar Nasim, Mr Mohd Amin Bhat, Mr Farooq Sheikh, Mr Sheikh Hanif, Mr Mehraj U Din Wani, Mr Altaf Hussain, Mr Manzoor Ishbari, Mr Junaid Ahmed Rather, Mr Gulfam Barji, Mr Majid Majaz and Mr Parthoo Pritam Hazrika From Assam.
On this occasion a Kashmiri stage play (WATH) Written and Directed by Mr Reshi Rashid and presented by Azad Dramatic Cultural Club. The event was successful and appreciated highly by audience and the guests present there.
