Srinagar, Nov 06: Army on Sunday rescued at least six tourists injured in road accident in Gulmarg area of Baramulla district.

Army sources told that six passengers were injured in a car accident near Nagin on a snow-covered Gulmarg-Butapathri road today

He said that accident happened due to overspeeding despite promulgation of strict driving instructions.

He added that all passengers were rescued after four hours of rescue operation by army.

He added that all of them were taken to hospital where their condition is said to be stable.
