Baramulla:At a time when the government and local sports bodies are unable to organise sports events across District Baramulla,the Army’s 32 RR in Rafiabad is extending help to the youth waiting to showcase their talent during this pandemic.

Racing, musical chair, sack race, Tug of war, biscuit race and other such events were organised to tap the talent of Adults and Children of Rafiabad in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.

Today 32 RR of the Army organised the above mentioned sports events in Dooniwar Rafiabad for the people of Rafiabad in which Adults and Children participated.

“We want the youth to take benefit of these sports events and showcase their talent in whatever way they can. The 32 RR of the Army is organising different events in Rafiabad and the Race is one of the events,” told an Army official.

The winners and other participants were provided Stationary items which include Notebooks, Pencils, Erasers, Sharpners and Sketchpens ”added the official.

“It is a fact that we have enough talent in this part of the Baramulla District but we are not being provided the opportunities to showcase it.Like the Army’s 32 RR others should also come forward to help the youth of the area,”told local people who was participating in the Sports events which were organised by the Army while talking to Greater Now News.

Locals and Children who participated in the Sports event appreciated the friendly gesture of Army’s 32 RR.
