Baramulla, Sept 30: In Continuation with the efforts of Indian Army in managing the pandemic and in general, Indian Army’s Boniyar based Artillery regiment organised a medical camp at village Paro of Tehsil Boniyar today for the Ex-servicemen and their families of Boniyar, Paro, Maidanan & Trikanjan.

Doctors fron civil administration (CMO) and Army, provided medical facilities to Ex-servicemen and locals at the Camp.

The Camp was well laid out and all safety protocols were followed diligently.

Although the medical camp aimed at treatment and medication for ex-servicemen and their families, it was largely attended by more than 110 locals as well.

Besides free check up, Medicine distribution, Mask distribution ,Covid tests and vaccination was also done.

This medical camp proved as a boon for all the participants as earlier they were scared to visit any hospital for the fear of infection from the spread of the Covid-19.

All the women patients were provided with personal health card and vital information on health and hygiene.

People of various age groups including infants, young and old male and female population turned up in large numbers to make full use of this opportunity provided by the Army.

This initiative of Indian Army will go a long way in facilitating and extending help to the citizens.

Moreover, this will further assist in strengthening the bond of Army with the local civil population and will also give a platform to provide health services to the last men at their doorstep.

This Initiative was warmly welcomed by the locals of the area and they expressed their gratitude towards the Indian Army.
