Uri, Mar 25: Angoor Battalion/Kalapahar Brigade of Indian army on Thursday holds an interactive session as a part of “Awam and Jawan” in Dulanja and kamalkote villages of North Kashmir District Baramulla’s Tehsil Uri.

In a statement issued to “Greater Now News”, Army’s Angoor Battalion/ Kalapahar Brigade organized this long day session which aims to spread awareness on various initiatives undertaken by the army.

“The aim of the event was informal interaction with local elders to understand various issues pertaining to the villages while simultaneously spreading awareness on various initiatives and welfare schemes undertaken by Army including sadbhavana projects and upcoming recruitment rallies” an Army official told.

The elders appreciated the efforts of the army for its dedication and efforts for the upliftment of remote border areas and they were assured that the issues highlighted will be resolved or brought to the attention of civil authorities for early resolution.
